Tumor cells were plated at 2,000 cells per well in a 96-well plate in full medium and allowed to attached overnight. rK5 or Adriamycin was added to the wells in fresh medium and allowed to grow for 72 hours. The number of cells was measured by AQueous Cell Proliferation kit. IC50 values were determined by comparing treated cells with nontreated cells. Each test was run in quadruplicate.
