A New Open Access Journal Covering the Full Spectrum of Cancer Science and Medicine

Submission site will be open in Summer 2021!

Cancer Research Communications, an open access journal of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), provides a unique publication outlet for research—basic, translational, and clinical—covering the full spectrum of cancer science and medicine. The mission of the journal is to be an open forum for discovery, collaboration, and sharing with the goal of driving scientific breakthroughs and technological innovations that will help advance patient care.

Studies appropriate for Cancer Research Communications must be meritorious and contribute to the expanding body of knowledge that nourishes this varied community. In addition to submissions of new insights and data resources, the journal welcomes original contributions that robustly support or refute previously published results or report thought-provoking negative results. In recognition of the importance of integrating other cancer-related disciplines, such as engineering, physics, and computational biology, this journal seeks studies that include these disciplines to stimulate new understanding and ideas for preventing and treating cancer.

The journal is committed to objective and constructive peer review and articles will be selected based on the rigor and quality of the research. Cancer Research Communications will publish with speed, and exclusively online, with the goal of making the research published in this new journal discoverable to the broadest possible audience. By harnessing the scientific scope of the AACR, a global scientific society that encompasses all areas in cancer research, Cancer Research Communications will be a leading journal by—and for—our growing research community.
