Q: What is your primary area of study/research?
A: RNA biology, short and long noncoding RNAs, cancer biology, pancreatic cancer, and liver cancer

Q: What influenced your decision to embark on a research career?
A: Currently the prognosis of most cancers, particularly pancreatic cancer, is poor, therefore it is of urgent significance to explore novel diagnostic and therapeutic targets. This influenced my decision to embark on a research career.

Q; What excites you most about your research area?
A: The identification of novel RNA molecules with diagnostic and therapeutic potential for cancer.

Q: What do you do for fun outside of work? What are your passions and hobbies?
A: Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My passion outside of work is cooking and my hobbies are swimming, hiking, and listening to music.
