Watch the recording of the AACR Virtual Journal Club: Cancer Discovery session featuring Phil Jones, PhD, FMedSci discussing his article recently published in Cancer Discovery, "Selection of Oncogenic Mutant Clones in Normal Human Skin Varies with Body Site."

Genetic analyses of healthy aged human epidermal cells revealed skin site–specific mutational signatures, with common skin cancer sites exhibiting more potentially oncogenic mutations and with high variability in mutations under positive selection among sites. This study suggests that normal skin is a patchwork of mutant clones varying by location.
