A: Cancer immunotherapy, phase I clinical trials, thoracic oncology, rare tumors, spatial immunobiology, immune biomarkers
Q: What influenced your decision to embark on a research career?
A: For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in how the immune system can be harnessed to fight cancer, particularly in rare cancers
Q; What excites you most about your research area?
A: The ability to identify novel biomarkers for immunotherapeutic response, as well as to create a TCGA of rare tumors
Q: What do you do for fun outside of work? What are your passions and hobbies?
A: I like to travel to national parks with my kids and pursue amateur astronomy with my family
