Q: What is your primary area of study/research?
A: Tumor immunology and immunotherapy in multiple myeloma and other cancers.

Q: What influenced your decision to embark on a research career?
A: Back in medical school during the early 1970s, I realized that we knew so little about human diseases and treatment options were limited. Medical research would be required to provide the answers to these questions.

Q; What excites you most about your research area?
A: New discoveries in cancer biology and the development of novel therapeutics to treat patients

Q: What do you do for fun outside of work? What are your passions and hobbies?
A: Golf
