A: Disparities in breast cancer outcomes at the intersections of molecular, behavioral, and social epidemiology.
Q: What influenced your decision to embark on a research career?
A: Watching too many racial and ethnic minorities navigate the cancer setting and feeling their experiences, values, and barriers were not acknowledged or understood.
Q; What excites you most about your research area?
A: Novel thinking and “outside the box” discovery informed by community engagement and survivor advocate experiences.
Q: What do you do for fun outside of work? What are your passions and hobbies?
A: Exercising, cooking, and (now only occasional) dancing as well as real estate investing.
