RING finger proteins are involved in numerous cancer-related processes such as cell cycle, apoptosis, and DNA repair. Knockdown of RNF43, a recently identified new member of Ring finger family, inhibited both growth and invasion of HCC cells. Immunofluorescence showed that after RNF43 knockdown, the stress fiber formation of HCC cells was suppressed compared with control group and this was coincident with decreased cell migration ability.
