Glioblastoma (GBM) remains the most aggressive primary brain cancer in adults. This image represents a post-contrast sagittal T1 weighted MRI from a Glioblastoma patient demonstrating a centrally necrotic, peripherally enhancing mass in the right frontal lobe. Brain tumor initiating cells (BTICs) isolated from the surgical specimens revealed high expression of glucose-6-phosphatase-α (G6PC).
