This article (1) has been retracted at the request of the editors.
Following an internal review, it was determined that authorship of the original article is disputed. Four individuals who attest that they were unaware of the submitted manuscript, and did not agree to their authorship, were removed as authors in a prior Correction (2).
Internal review also detected 11 instances of image reuse throughout Figs. 2 (panels E and F), 3 (panels E and F), and 4 (panels E and F) in this article (1). In each instance, the same image was used to represent different experimental conditions. In some instances, the image's presentation varied between uses to display fields of different cell densities from the same sample.
A copy of this Retraction Notice was sent to the last known email addresses for the three remaining authors. One author (Song-Hui Xu) did not agree to the retraction, and two authors (Dong-E Tang and Yong Dai) did not respond.
