Q: What influenced your decision to embark on a research career?
A: My high school biology teacher who supported me and served as a mentor at a critical time in my life.
Q; What excites you most about your research area?
A: Cellular therapies, especially genetically engineered cells, offer a pliable therapeutic platform with vast applications to human disease.
Q: What are your hobbies or passions outside of work?
A: I have always loved music, learning the trumpet in my younger years. Over the past decade, I have been studying the cello and I sing with an amateur choir.
