Q: What is your primary area of study/research?
A: Study of biologic drug delivery/disposition using radiochemistry/imaging methods.
Q: What influenced your decision to embark on a research career?
A: I was inspired to pursue a career in science while attending the ACS/DOE sponsored Summer School in Nuclear and Radiochemistry as an undergraduate.
Q; What excites you most about your research area?
A: Imaging technologies allow us to visually confirm drug uptake into tissue sites of action.
Q: What are your hobbies or passions outside of work?
A: Coffee, cats, and gardening. I've also had the opportunity to participate as an invited guest lecturer at the Summer School in Nuclear and Radiochemistry at San Jose State University each year since 2010 (the same program that I attended in 1997).
