Precision Oncology
Precision Oncology is an evolving concept. What began with targeted therapy has expanded to include genomic biomarker screening through liquid or tumor biopsy for patient selection and to guide therapies. Precision medicine in oncology has further developed to include the individual’s tumor immune environment, lifestyle (diet and exercise) and overall health that can be used to further design therapeutic intervention.
