The cover shows a section of a liver metastasis biopsy from a patient with triple-negative breast cancer. Cyclic immunofluorescence shows high phosphorylated CDK1/2/3/5 (red) and low phospho-histone H3 (green) in pan-cytokeratin (white)-positive tumor cells after treatment with cisplatin. These markers switched in a site-matched biopsy at a later timepoint after the addition of the WEE1 inhibitor adavosertib, which is further described.
