The in vivo delivery and distribution of antibodies affect immunoimaging and immunotherapy outcomes. The representative immunofluorescence image of UM-SCC1 tumor section shows a patchy distribution of cetuximab, an antibody against EGFR. At 24 hours after tail vein injection, the antibody only diffused around the perivascular regions within the diameter of several cells. In this image, cetuximab is displayed in green with FITC conjugation and tumor vasculature in red as stained with antimurine CD31 antibody. The blue color is from DAPI for nuclei visualization.
