In prostate cancer, metastasis correlates with cytoplasmic localization of Filamin A. Whereas the normal prostate (shown) and primary prostate cancer expressed Filamin A in both the nucleus and the cytoplasm, metastatic deposits expressed it only in the cytoplasm.
