Heterogeneous cell subpopulations derived from one patient with clear cell ovarian carcinoma express characteristic ovarian carcinoma biomarkers, including the switch from N- to E-cadherin as indicated by immunofluorescence staining of the C12 subpopulation, and recapitulate the full repertoire of ovarian clear cell carcinoma histological phenotypes in a human embryonic stem cell–derived microenvironment.
