Advances in Tumor Immunology and Immunotherapy

Cancer immunotherapies are rapidly evolving to render better health outcomes for cancer patients. This collection of research and review articles from the AACR journals highlights recent advances in cancer immunology, and explores promising pathways with therapeutic potential. Improvements in neoantigen discovery, CAR T cell therapy, checkpoint inhibitor identification, as well as a better understanding of how the microbiome affects cancer outcomes all contribute to a comprehensive exploration of the current state of tumor immunology. Further, this collection includes studies on how innate and adaptive immune cells, and cells within the tumor microenvironment such as stromal cells, are altered and can be targeted for improved cancer immunotherapies.
