In the original version of this article (1), errors were found in the z-scores in Table 3 and, consequently, the results shown in Fig. 1 and Table 5. The definition of cognitive domain impairment did not match the two-part criterion mentioned in the material and methods section (z-score ≤ −1.5 below HCs on two or more tests, or z-score ≤ −2.0 below HCs on a single test) but was based on a simple criterion (z-score ≤ −2.0 below HCs on a single test) only. Overall cognitive impairment was observed in 35% of patients with breast cancer and 15% of healthy controls. There is no change to the overall interpretation of our results and the conclusions based on adjusted models. The errors have been corrected in the latest online HTML and PDF versions of the article. The authors regret the errors.
