Abstract
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Minority Health and Health Equity (OMHHE) aims to protect and promote the health of diverse populations though research, outreach, and communication that addresses health disparities. A key priority area for FDA OMHHE is advancing racial and ethnic minority participation in clinical trials. This presentation will provide an overview of FDA OMHHE’s efforts to advance diverse participation in clinical trials and highlight FDA policy strategies that support clinical trial diversity.
