This poster will focus on some of the specific challenges around colorectal cancer within African American communities. It will look at current statistics, barriers to better outcomes in the areas of screening, prevention and survivorship. It will also look at issue (controlled for income and education) and still lack of more positive outcomes.

All information provided will be evidence based. I have used information from Colon Cancer Alliance for a work event that I organized and will most likely use some of this again, along with other evidence-based research. It will also raise questions.
