In this article (Cancer Epidemiol Biomarkers Prev 2012;21:1260–71), which appeared in the August 2012 issue of Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention (1), a typographical error was made in Table 4. The authors present HRs and 95% CIs by BMI and weight status, and in the results presented for underweight/normal weight in the Shanghai sample, the upper and lower 95% CI for ≥10% weight loss are presented incorrectly as the same as for 5%–10% weight loss:
5%–10%: 1.74 (1.07–2.83)≥10%: 4.08 (1.07–2.83)
The correct results are:
5%–10%: 1.74 (1.07–2.83)≥10%: 4.08 (2.35–7.11)
The authors regret the error.
