OBJECTIVE: To promote a year-round worksite breast health education program to the employeees/support staff of the worlds's busiest airport; Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport utilizing the AeroClinic located within the airport. The guiding principles for the program are: a) Acceptability, b) Availability, c) Accessibility, d) Affordability, and e) Accountability. METHODS: Include the "E Factors" - A) Employ - multicultural Community Health Advcoates (CHAs), b) Encourage - employers to give their employees time to attend the program, c) Educate - women/men learn the importance of breast health, d) Engage - through educational sessions, e) Empower - women/men to take self responsibility, and f) Evaluate - through process, outcome and impact measures the feasibility of replication. ChAs obtaine baseline pre/post data, educate the airport workforce and facilitate appointments for screening and follow-up. Quarterly, program performed in Spanish.
