Expanding the Targeted Protein Degradation Arsenal Available to Purchase

May 15, 2025
Researchers at the American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting 2025 demonstrated that a bridged proteolysis targeting chimera (PROTAC) could enable the inclusion of more ligases in the system and potentially help to overcome resistance to these compounds. Separately, another team of researchers reported that a new molecular glue showed promise in degrading ALK, a protein sometimes mutated in non–small cell lung cancer.
