Major Finding: PDAC-mediated reprogramming of intratumoral neurons increases connections with tumor cells and cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAF).
Concept: Reprogrammed intratumoral neurons recruit CAFs to suppress immune cell infiltration.
Impact: Denervation may augment the efficacy of immunotherapy or taxane-based chemotherapy in pancreatic cancer.
