U.S. Authorities Seize $76 Million in Illegal E-Cigarettes Free

A multi-agency federal task force formed by the FDA and Department of Justice seized approximately 3 million unauthorized electronic cigarette (e-cigarette) products, valued at $76 million. The shipments, all of which originated in China, contained various brands of illegal e-cigarettes, and most were intentionally declared as items with no connection to vaping products and with incorrect monetary values.
