PSA Levels Reduced in Trans Women on Hormone Therapy Available to Purchase

Abstract: Transgender women taking estrogen therapy exhibit lower serum PSA levels  than cisgender men, a new study finds. This disparity may compromise the effectiveness of existing prostate cancer screening protocols, indicating a need to revise diagnostic thresholds for male-to-female transgender individuals.
