Immune Cell Triads Are Necessary for an Antitumor Immune Response

Major Finding: CD4+ and CD8+ T cells must interact with the same dendritic cell to elicit an antitumor response.
Concept: CD4+ T cells promote cytotoxic function and prevent exhaustion in CD8+ T cells through immune cell triads.
Impact: Promoting the formation of immune cell triads may be an effective therapeutic strategy for cancer.
