Major Finding: The microbial-derived metabolite deoxycholic acid blocks CD8+ T-cell responses in colorectal cancer.

Concept: Deoxycholic acid suppresses CD8+ T-cell responses by targeting PMCA to inhibit Ca2+-NFAT2 signaling.

Impact: These results suggest that disrupting bile acid metabolism could serve as a potential anticancer therapy.
