ID3 Expression Induces Potent Antitumor Immune Activity in Macrophages

February 15, 2024

Major Finding: ID3 promotes Kupffer cell phagocytosis of tumor cells and immune effector cell recruitment.

Concept: ID3-mediated inhibition of ELF1 and E2A binding to SIRPA augments the antitumor immune response.

Impact: ID3 expression in macrophages is sufficient to promote an anticancer niche, which could be harnessed as a potential therapy.
