    A hallmark of high-grade gliomas is the presence of regions of high vascularity. We used dynamic susceptibility contrast (DSC) MRI to estimate the volume and the severity of vascular leakage in patients with high-grade gliomas. The cover image shows an example of the spatial extent of vascular leakage. We found that the vascular leakage volume, reflecting angiogenesis, was a strong predictor of survival, compared to the FLAIR and post-Gd T1 tumor volumes. DSC-MRI may also be useful in monitoring the effects of new clinical trials using antivascular agents for patients with high-grade glioma.
