This article (1) has been retracted at the request of the editors. Following an institutional review by Peter MacCallum Cancer Center (Victoria, Australia), the primary affiliation for several of the authors, it was not possible to confidently identify and assign the primary datasets to support the data presented in multiple parts of Figs. 1–6 inclusive. As a result of these findings, the institution recommended retraction and, upon internal review, the editors agree with this recommendation.
A copy of this Retraction Notice was sent to the last known email addresses for nineteen of the nineteen authors. Fifteen authors (Sue Haupt, Ai-Leen Chan, Nathan Godde, Franco Caramia, Siddhartha Deb, Elena A. Takano, Cameron Johnstone, Brendon Monahan, Yarra Levav-Cohen, Yong-Hui Jiang, Alpha S. Yap, Stephen Fox, Ora Bernard, Ygal Haupt, and Mark Bishton) agreed to the retraction; one author (Robin Anderson) acknowledged the retraction; one author (Mariam Mansour) did not agree to the retraction; and two authors (Alexandra Rizzitelli and Sherene Loi) did not respond.
