In this article (Cancer Res 2016;76:736–48), which appeared in the February 1, 2016 issue of Cancer Research (1), the authors inadvertently left out of the Materials and Methods section a description of part of the normalization process used to analyze the chromatin immunoprecipitation data. This should read as follows:
Quantitative chromatin immunoprecipitation
Quantitative chromatin immunoprecipitation (qChIP) was performed as previously described (19). For acetylated histone H3 (H3K9K14ac) ChIP, we first normalized the values obtained for enrichment of the acetylated form of H3 to the values obtained for total H3 enrichment (anti-H3, Abcam, ab1791) to control for total H3 histone content at the specific genomic loci of interest. These normalized values were then made relative to the respective isotype controls. For primer sequences and antibodies, see Supplementary Experimental Procedures.
