In this article (Cancer Res 2007;12:5859–64), which was published in the June 15, 2007 issue of Cancer Research (1), the sentence on page 5860 pertaining to animal studies is incorrect. The sentence should read “This study was conducted in accordance with the regulations for experimentation on animals issued by the Scientific Technology Department of Jilin Province China for the care and use of laboratory animals under assurance number SYXK(JI)2003-0001.”
