One of the new features in the Reviews Section of Cancer Research is Point-Counterpoint. In this venue, two opposing perspectives on a controversial issue of broad significance to the research community are presented. Authors submit independently and then have the opportunity to briefly rebut at the end of the opposing article.

The purpose of this initiative is to provide an arena for a spirited debate that helps readers derive their own conclusions. Ultimately, we hope that the Point-Counterpoint Reviews will stimulate researchers to perform critical experiments that will permit a definitive resolution of the debate.

If you would like to suggest topics for Point-Counterpoint, please e-mail them to Dan Welch ([email protected]) so that they can be considered by the Reviews Editors.
