C.A. Eads et al., 2302–2306, 1999

In the article by C.A. Eads et al., entitled “CpG island hypermethylation in human colorectal tumors is not associated with DNA methyltransferase overexpression,” which appeared in the May 15, 1999 issue of Cancer Research (pp. 2302–2306), the sequences of the H4F2 RT-PCR primers were reported incorrectly. The correct primer sequences are: forward primer, 5′-TTCGGGACGCAGTCACCTA-3′; reverse primer, 5′AGCGCGTACACCACATCCAT-3′; and probe, 6FAM5′-CACGCCAAGCGCAAGACCGTC-3′TAMRA. In addition, the designations of the forward and reverse primers in the article were interchanged for the APC, CDKN2A, MLH1 and MYOD1 methylation assay primers.
