The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) recently announced two major cancer-related funding awards. One at Rice University will focus on implanting a small device that continuously monitors a patient's cancer and adjusts immunotherapy doses in real time. Another is going to Emory University to develop new ways to enhance the body's immune response toward therapies for cancers, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases.
