Q: What is your primary area of study/research?
A: Breast and gynecological cancers, disparities
Q: What influenced your decision to embark on a research career?
A: I was drawn to epidemiology because of the opportunity to study and make an impact at the population level. Cancer research is so interesting and rewarding because nearly all of us are touched personally by this devastating disease.
Q; What excites you most about your research area?
A: I love seeing the progress that has been made in reducing cancer death rates and disparities, but there is still much more work to be done and I am excited to be a part of those efforts.
Q: What are your hobbies or passions outside of work?
A: I love spending time with my family, including my two young daughters. I love to read, run, do yoga, and just be outside!
